The Halloween Party was a time for all of us to get together and have some hair raising fun. For the weeks prior to the party we were making decorations to hang around the nursery in order to make it a Halloween spectacular that everyone would love.
Arriving at the party were mummy’s, pumpkins, witches, black cats and even Harry Potter. Everyone made a great effort and looked amazing.
At the party there was food galore; it really was a feast. There was something for everyone all keeping within the theme. After we had our fill of goodies, it was time to play some games. First up was the Halloween pass the parcel. Some of us tried to hold on to the parcel for a little longer than required in anticipation of the music stopping……….. note to self, that tactic never works.
Next we played a game of Halloween treasure hunt. We were looking for that bucket of ghouly goodies. All the clues led us to a little rat which had another clue on it. After a lot of brain work and a little bit of help from the grownups, we managed to find a big bucket of Halloween treasure. We were elated. Like all treasure, it was shared out equally between us, and there was more than enough to go around.
Before indulging in our goodies, we had a few games of musical bumps to a soundtrack of monster mash and other such musical classics. Then came the free dancing, there were some witchy moves and a few ghastly sights but a lot of fun was had by all, big and small.
There was a lot of energy, a lot of food consumed and we had an amazing time.
